Certainly all stakeholders involved in student's virtual classroom experience play an important part in making sure the course is effective.
The descriptions provided for each of the stakeholders defined absolutely correlate with my expectations. I am particularly proud to see that GaVS encourages parents to serve as coaches for their students through their virtual learning experiences. Often times, parents of high schoolers in a face-to-face learning environment prefer to have a hands-off approach, with hopes that their students will learn independence and self discipline. While I believe the parents' intentions are noble, I have seen students really flourish when they recognize that they have a solid support team in place, where all stakeholders have a genuine desire to see them succeed.
